You're in the right place if...
Most people who contact us aren’t sure exactly what they need. That’s completely normal.
Here’s what we hear most:
Maybe someone close to you got sick, or a parent passed away, and it made you think: I should have a plan in place. You’re not sure where to start or what you need. That’s exactly why we offer a free consultation, no paperwork, no pressure.
You’ve heard that nursing home care can drain everything, and you’re scared there won’t be anything left. There are real options, even when things feel urgent. Many families protect far more than they expected.
You want to make sure they’re cared for and protected long after you’re gone. The right legal plan can preserve their access to benefits while giving you peace of mind.
This is all we do: elder law, estate planning, estate administration, and special needs planning. Every client who walks through our door has the same kinds of questions you do.
Protecting your assets from nursing home costs, Medicaid planning, long-term care planning, and guardianship. If you or a parent may need care, this is where to start.
Elder law, estate planning, estate administration, and special needs planning. We have a track record of deep knowledge from years of experience in these areas, and every member of our team works on these same issues every single day.
David Lantz will be in the room with you from your first conversation to your final signature. Not a paralegal. Not a junior associate. The attorney you hired is the one doing the work.
“I have found Attorney Lantz to be experienced, professional, responsive, knowledgeable and honest. I would highly recommend David to anyone seeking legal representation that is fair, honest and will keep your best interest needs top priority.”

David has been practicing elder law and estate planning in Northeast Pennsylvania since 2008. Over the course of his career he has helped hundreds of families navigate some of the most important legal decisions they’ll ever face, from protecting assets from nursing home costs to settling estates after a loved one passes.
He is known among his clients for being available, for returning every call within one business day, and for explaining complicated legal matters in plain language so families can make the decisions that are right for them.
David believes the practice of elder law is fundamentally about people. Not just documents and deadlines, but the families behind them.
